We were delighted to participate in the 12th Annual Meeting of the ASEAN Network of Regulatory Bodies on Atomic Energy (ASEANTOM), which took place from 11 to 14 August 2025 at the Renaissance Hotel Johor Bahru.
The meeting was officially opened by YAB Dato’ Sri Haji Fadillah bin Haji Yusof, Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia; YAB Dato’ Onn Hafiz Ghazi, Chief Minister of Johor; and YB Mr Chang Lih Kang, Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation, with closing remarks delivered by YB Dato’ Haji Mohammad Yusof Apdal, Deputy Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation.
This gathering provided an invaluable opportunity to present our expertise to representatives from the atomic energy regulatory bodies of all ten ASEAN member countries, alongside dialogue partners including Japan and South Korea, and international organisations such as the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). It also enabled us to strengthen collaboration in the field of mineral analysis.
Our comprehensive service portfolio encompasses Rare Earth Elements (REE) analysis, trace elements analysis, geochemical analysis, silica analysis, sample preparation services, and optical property assessments including whiteness, brightness and yellowness analysis, all of which contribute to accurate monitoring, precise measurement and regulatory compliance across the region.
We remain steadfast in our commitment to building partnerships that promote the peaceful and responsible application of nuclear science and technology within ASEAN.
