Terra Mineral Lab Sdn Bhd (TML) was delighted to participate in the 11th Mineral Symposium (SIMPOMIN 2025), organised by the Department of Mineral and Geoscience Malaysia (JMG), held from 1–2 October 2025 at Hotel Casuarina @ Meru, Ipoh.
The symposium was officiated by YBhg. Datuk Mas Rizal bin Mohd Hilmi, Deputy Secretary General (Natural Resources), Ministry of Natural Resources and Natural Sustainability (NRES), together with YBhg. Datuk PGeol Zamri Ramli, Director General of the Department of Mineral and Geoscience Malaysia (JMG).
SIMPOMIN 2025 served as a flagship platform that united researchers, academics, industry players and stakeholders to exchange knowledge, present innovations and explore pathways for sustainable mineral development, with the symposium highlighting key focus areas such as mineral processing and metallurgy, mining technology, rare earth elements (REE), advanced materials and mineral recycling.
During the event, we were honoured to receive YBhg. Datuk Mas Rizal and YBhg. Datuk PGeol Zamri Ramli at our booth, where we shared insights into our role as a national laboratory and demonstrated our mineral analysis capabilities and service offerings.
Beyond our exhibition, TML also participated as a conference delegate, represented by our Senior Chemist, ChM Noorhafizah binti Hasanudin, who actively engaged in knowledge-sharing sessions and discussions, with this dual participation allowing us to both showcase our expertise and strengthen collaborations with national and international counterparts.
