Lawatan kerja ini membawa signifikan kepada peranan TML memandangkan MIDA merupakan agensi utama kerajaan di bawah Kementerian Pelaburan, Perdagangan dan Industri (MITI) yang bertanggungjawab merancang serta mempromosikan pelaburan dalam sektor pembuatan dan perkhidmatan di Malaysia.

Sepanjang lawatan tersebut, delegasi MIDA diberi pendedahan dan penerangan menyeluruh mengenai peranan serta tanggungjawab TML yang berkeupayaan menganalisis, mengenal pasti dan menentusahkan pelbagai kandungan mineral, khususnya Unsur Nadir Bumi (REE).

Lawatan ini turut menjadi wadah perkongsian maklumat dan perbincangan mengenai peranan kedua-dua pihak dalam meneroka kerjasama strategik bagi terus memperkasakan TML sebagai industri sokongan pembangunan sektor mineral di Malaysia.
