Terra Mineral Lab Sdn Bhd (TML) has been awarded MS ISO/IEC 17025:2017 Accreditation under the Laboratory Accreditation Scheme of Malaysia (SAMM) by the Department of Standards Malaysia.

This recognition establishes TML as a rare earth element (REE) analysis laboratory for rare earth carbonate (REC) materials, equipped with the capability to analyse, identify and verify a wide range of mineral content, particularly REE.

This accreditation further stands as a testament to TML’s competence and commitment in delivering accurate, reliable and internationally recognised analytical services, underpinned by 3 advanced, high-technology analytical instruments, namely ICP-MS, WD-XRF and Micro-XRF.

This achievement not only reflects TML’s diligence in adhering to international standards set by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), but also strengthens Perak’s position as a competitive REE research hub at the national level.
